Ingredients:

  • 1-inch piece of fresh ginger
  • 1/2 tsp ground turmeric (Or 1-inch piece of turmeric or turmeric gummies if you don’t have anything else.)
  • 2 lemons (Peeled, cut in piece with no seeds)
  • 1 orange (Peeled, cut in piece with no seeds)
  • 8 oz of chilled water
  • 4 tsp raw honey (optional for sweetness)
  • A pinch of cayenne pepper (optional for an extra kick)

Instructions:

  1. Peel the fresh ginger and turmeric.
  2. Peel the lemons and orange, white pith and seeds removed.
  3. Combine all the ingredients in the blender.
  4. Blend until smooth.
  5. Strain the mixture into a small jar or bottle using a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth (I personally don’t strain, but you may)
  6. Store the bottles in the fridge and consume within 3-5 days. Shake well before each use.

How to Use: Take one shot a day (perfect for cold and flu season or when you need an immune boost).
